FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT - DID YOU KNOW?
Your Fire Risk Assessment needs to meet the requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, effective from 1st October 2006. Also you are responsible for ensuring a 'competent person' undertakes a 'suitable and sufficient' FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT to ensure your premises meets legislative requirements.
FIRE CERTIFICATES - DID YOU KNOW?
Fire Certificates have been abolished but don't destroy them as they contain valuable information.
BUSINESS OWNERS? - DID YOU KNOW?
Business owners have the responsibility for ensuring that there is adequate fire protection and means of escape from their premises.
EMPLOYERS - DID YOU KNOW?
An employer with 5 or more employee's must produce a written statement of their general Health & Safety Policy to include;
general statement of intentions for health & safety;
specific duties for employees and managers;
a statement of the detailed arrangements for the provision of health & safety.
